Planning to fly to Hurghada with your family? Here’s a list of the top activities at this Egyptian resort!

Two Aquariums. The "Red Sea" Aquarium features 300 marine species, from octopuses to stonefish. At the Hurghada Grand Aquarium, seahorses, sharks, and other marine life are complemented by vibrant corals and starfish. The aquarium also offers a café, pizzeria, and a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea.

Mini-Egypt Park. This park showcases more than 60 miniature replicas of the country’s landmarks, from tombs to pyramids, all at a scale of 1:25.

Sand Sculpture Museum "Sand City." The museum is divided into two zones. The first features mythical heroes and historical figures such as Cleopatra, Zeus, and Napoleon, while the second showcases characters from famous films and cartoons, including Captain Jack Sparrow and Winnie the Pooh.

Dolphinarium "Dolphin World." This dolphinarium hosts shows with sea lions, the smart walrus Lila, and the sea lion Dimas, along with stunning dolphin performances. After the show, you can take photos with the dolphins or even swim with them in a pool for an additional fee.

Waterparks:

Jungle Aqua Park offers 35 attractions, 14 of which are designed for kids. Young visitors can enjoy slides, water mills, and fountains, while adults can relax in a wave pool or raft along a kilometer-long river.

Makadi Water World features 50 slides, including zones for toddlers and a pirate island and ship for children aged 5 and older.

"Titanic" attracts visitors with 27 slides (13 for children), a lazy river, and a whirlpool river.

"Sindbad", styled as a tropical oasis, boasts a large wave pool called Blue Lagoon, alongside an array of slides and other water attractions.

The Palace "Thousand and One Nights." This Egyptian Disneyland is perfect for an evening show with older kids. Beautifully illuminated, the venue hosts performances that include a theatrical retelling of Egypt’s history, a demonstration of traditional Egyptian wedding ceremonies, and circus acts featuring Arabian horses and camels (rides on them are available after the show). The evening concludes with a display of dancing fountains.
